By accessing or using the Strongly mobile application and related services (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Strongly is a personal health tracking application that allows you to:

  • Log meals, nutrition, and water intake
  • Track sleep patterns, workouts, and supplements
  • Monitor mood and energy levels
  • Upload health documents (lab results, CGM data)
  • Receive AI-powered health insights and assessment reports
  • View health trends and dashboards

3. Health Disclaimer

IMPORTANT: Strongly is NOT a medical device and does NOT provide medical advice.

  • The Service is intended for general wellness and informational purposes only
  • Information provided by the Service should not be used to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or health condition
  • Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before making any health-related decisions
  • Do not disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of information obtained through the Service
  • If you experience a medical emergency, call emergency services immediately

4. Account Registration

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized account access
  • Be responsible for all activities under your account

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems

  • Upload malicious code or content

You retain ownership of any content you submit to the Service (your health data, logs, etc.). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process and store your content solely to provide the Service.

7. User Content

You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the data you input into the Service. We do not verify the accuracy of user-submitted health data.

8. AI-Powered Features

The Service uses third-party artificial intelligence services (OpenAI and Anthropic) to process your inputs and generate health-related content. By using AI-powered features, you acknowledge that:

  • Portions of your health data are transmitted to these AI providers for processing
  • AI-generated content (reports, insights, coaching recommendations) may contain errors or inaccuracies
  • AI outputs are for informational and wellness purposes only and do not constitute medical advice
  • You should independently verify any AI-generated health information
  • We are not liable for decisions made based on AI-generated content

9. Third-Party Services

The Service uses third-party services including Firebase (authentication), Render (hosting), OpenAI (AI parsing), Anthropic (AI features), and Sentry (error monitoring). Your use of these integrations is subject to the third party's terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

We do not warrant that:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • Defects will be corrected
  • The Service is free of viruses or harmful components
  • The results from using the Service will meet your requirements

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, STRONGLY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Loss of profits, data, or use
  • Personal injury or property damage
  • Health complications arising from reliance on the Service

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the past 12 months.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Strongly and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it through the app or by contacting us at support@thestrongly.app.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

15. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes by:

  • Posting the updated Terms on this page
  • Updating the "Last Updated" date
  • Providing notice within the app for material changes

Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
